Motivation is BACK!

Yep, it’s back. I’m feeling good!

Got signed up for a challenge on Fitocracy, which is a website that gives you points for various exercises and challenges and stuff like that so you level up. There’s also a big social aspect to it so I’ve connected with a few family members and friends and we can offer each other support and have some fun.

If you want to check it out, here’s a link: http://ftcy.me/dnPn66

Oh! TJ and I are completely signed up and pumped to do our first 5Ks! We’re using the Couch to 5K (C25K) program which is a great way to ease into it.

My journal has been getting a workout with all the go-to healthy foods I’ve been listing. It really motivates me to write this stuff down so that it stays in the forefront of my thinking. Good luck with your new workout program!

Shit! Since I’ve been off work, I’ve completely forgotten about my journal! It’s been stuck in my bag, under a desk. Poor baby! I’ve just pulled her out and will be jotting some things down.

You could add the photo attached to your blog to your journal for motivation. She would motivate me. πŸ˜‰

Take a look at some the more recent blog posts. I’d been using similar photos as motivation.

Hey, Cheri. Great job to get motivated. Sandy and I are re-energized as well. I did the C25K a couple of years ago and loved it. That’s part of my plan this time, as well. I like to run, but Sandy is a biker. We come together for our strength training and then do our own cardio thing. Good luck with your fitness goals!

    Yes please!

My knee has been feeling wobbly the past week or so and I’ve been avoiding running. I think I’m going to pick up a knee brace and give that a shot.

Thanks for stopping by and commenting. I’ve been struggling, again, with sticking with working out and it helps to know that I’m being watched. Like we chatted about earlier today, I need that kick in the ass sometimes.
