TJ’s Birthday Dinner

Yesterday was my lovely wife’s 45th birthday. The rules in our family state that you get whatever you want on your birthday – within reason, of course. TJ wanted one of her favorite dinners, spaghetti, Italian sausage, and garlic bread so that’s what we had.

I had also had a bit more calories for lunch than I usually do. Nothing major, still very low in comparison to a fast food option, but moving from my normal routine made me feel a bit out of control. And I’m all about control.

We’re having a small party tomorrow night, too, but I’m planning on having some lower calorie snack options available and being mindful of how much I drink. The last get together we had was great in regard to my booze intake. I spent most of the time mixing cocktails for others and nursed my own drink and I think that’s a good plan for tomorrow.

I hope everyone has a great weekend! Here’s today’s motivational picture.
