With the coming of fall, anyone who has any sort of contact with social media is now seeing many comments about how cold it is or asking where summer went. I wanted to contribute mine. I could see my breath when I walked out the door this morning to drive to work. And it was cold in the house this morning.

I love fall. If it weren’t for the grey skies, it would be my favorite season by a long shot. There’s something about the smell of the leaves and the chill in the air that makes me feel good. I feel like I want to be a better person and be closer to those whom I care about.

I think I’m going to get some new sweaters this year. I love to wear layers and stay cuddled up in soft blankets. Football has started so Sundays will be spent on the couch in a sweatshirt with a soft fleece blanket and a book. And my family close by to help keep me warm.
