Dang, It’s Cold

I’d like it to be spring, please. The temps are starting to drop now. It’s going to be in the 30’s this week. We had some snow flurries yesterday. Several times. I’m not a fan of the cold. But since I can’t stop it, I’ll just whine and complain about it instead.

So, what’s new with the Fullers, you ask? Nothing so much new as continued. We took a trip to the model train store on Saturday morning and Micah was in heaven. I can’t believe how much he loves the trains. Well, I can, actually, since he’s been a wooden train junkie for nearly his whole life. It’s incredible to see how long his attention is held by watching trains move around the track. He’s very patient and gentle and it’s very cool to watch him and TJ share a love of something so much. I can’t wait until he starts playing World of Warcraft! He already studies our map of Azaroth. Shut up, all of you…

We missed two events Saturday but it was better than the fights that would have broken out between my son and me. He hasn’t been doing nap time very well on the weekends which leads to him being cranky and pig-headed. Which, when matched up with my cranky and pig-headedness usually results in unpleasant battles. Well, that’s what we had going on whenever the trains weren’t involved.

I had planned on practicing my knitting yesterday but got caught up in cleaning the fishtanks and reading a book about androids taking over the world. But the heros are chicks. Chicks who dig other chicks. So, while I generally don’t do a lot of SciFi, the promise of girl on girl action was enough to get me to start it. And it’s a good story so I’m in it for the long haul.

TJ’s still reading on a regular basis. I think someone took my real wife and replaced her with this new model. But I try not to tease her too much about it. She really is enjoying it. I should have known the way to get her to try something was to figure out how to involve a small, electronic device.

Comment if you want. You know, no pressure.
