Yesterday, I did something that I’m not sure I’ve ever done before. I went running for no other reason than I wanted to. I got the urge and that mentally stopped me in my tracks. I hadn’t even been drinking so I was completely clear headed.
I put on some shorts, a bandanna, and my running shoes, grabbed a dog and left. I made one loop of a half mile, swapped dogs, made another loop, dropped off the dog and made one final loop. It felt pretty good!
Even though the dogs seemed to be trying to kill me, it’s likely that I’ll take them out again. Maybe. Damn dogs.
